Mountain Campers are based in Thames on the Coromandel Peninsula, one of New Zealand’s most scenic destinations and just over an hours drive from Auckland. If you would prefer to be familiarised with your motor home in more relaxed surroundings with less traffic and easy driving directions, we can arrange transport to Thames from Auckland Airport. Thames is a great place to kick off your New Zealand motorhome holiday surrounded by tourist hot spots such as Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Whangamata and within easy driving distance to Tauranga, Rotorua or Hamilton.
